grOWING!

We began our prepared childbirth classes this evening. We are looking forward to learning everything we need to know! HA! For some reason I am thinking this is something you have to go through before truly understanding the magnitude.

Things continue to go well. Below are a few pictures of me at 29 weeks. You can see how big I am getting :) We found out some great news a few weeks ago! Aaron's sister, Lauren, is expecting their second child! This is so great. I think she is due around March or so... How exciting!!! Our little girl will be blessed to have 4 cousins within a couple years of age!

29 weeks



Aaron in a rare moment...lounging! This is my proof he can actually sit down while on the phone. Aaron has been keeping busy painting the baby room and helping get things ready around the house....plus getting in as much golf and hockey before his time is consumed with the new one!

This is my family a couple of weeks ago. I am 27 weeks here and Mary is 17 weeks (she is huge! :) Just kidding of course!) . It was nice to have everyone together for a couple of days!

Here are the pictures from the ultrasounds last week. As I said, she didn't cooperate very well, so they are a little difficult to make out. I have added in some comments to hopefully help a little.

We are off to the Dr. this afternoon. 28 weeks now! More pics of my growing belly soon!

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends. Both my brother and sister came in town. Mary is just starting to grow a little belly and Steve is excited to be an uncle!

July!?

I can't believe it is July already! We are in the final count down and have reached the third trimester. I had an ultrasound yesterday and everything checked out fine. She is still a 'she'! and is 14.2 inches long and 2 lbs 4 oz already. I think that is about average for 27 weeks. She didn't cooperate very well when it came to pictures of her face, but I will post what we have later this week. I passed the gestational diabetes test and have an appointment next Monday. Next week I also get to stop taking my thyroid medicine. This is a big relief as it is a complete pain to take 2 times a day, exactly 12 hours apart and on an empty stomach! Hope all is well with everyone.
